1) Move On

Fearless people, successful people, are not afraid to move on in life. They do not “waste time feeling sorry for themselves,” because they know it is not productive to their end goal. “They have learned to take responsibility for their actions and outcomes, and have an inherent understanding of the fact that frequently life is not fair.” At the end of the day, fair is a child’s word. When people realize this, they stop dwelling on the past and bounce back from mistakes faster. This allows them to be more successful in life because they do not waste time being upset about things they cannot change. Instead, they use that time to productively work on conquering new goals.

2) Keep Their Power

“Mentally strong people avoid giving others the power to make them feel inferior or bad.” Rather than allowing the thoughts of the many different people they come across affect their way of thinking, successful people realize that everybody has different opinions and that not everybody’s opinions matter or should be taken personally. They know they are “in control of their actions and emotions. They know their strength is in their ability to manage the way they respond.” Even when the chips are down and the insults feel personal, successful people find a way to look ahead and ignore the people tearing them down.

3) Accept Change

There is an old adage that claims the only things that are certain in life are death and change. “Mentally strong people embrace change and they welcome challenge.” In order to change yourself, you have to challenge yourself. If you are not challenging yourself, you are going to stay in the same spot for the rest of your life or ultimately begin to slip backwards. Mentally strong people, fearless people, successful people think in a way that will allow them to make changes in their life and accept changes that come so that they can get stronger with each day. “An environment of change and even uncertainty can energize a mentally strong person and bring out their best.”

“A mentally strong person is willing to take calculated risks.” Successful people think that risks sometimes bring out the best results in life. They aren’t careless, but rather “weigh the risks and benefits thoroughly, and will fully assess the potential downsides and even the worst-case scenarios before they take action.” They don’t shy away from risks, but they don’t plunge into ones without thinking them through first. However, it is the risks in life that make life interesting and sometimes bring out the most incredible results. Successful people are wiling to take this chance when it makes sense to them.

5) Applaud Others’ Successes

Jealousy and resentment are both emotions that can be incredibly prohibiting to one’s success. “It takes strength of character to feel genuine joy and excitement for other people’s success. Mentally strong people have this ability.” You only get what you work for in life. Dwelling on the idea of unfair successes will get you nowhere. Successful people think, and they think correctly, that the successes of other people are not inversely tied with their own failures. They can recognize the difference between their own successes and the successes of others and realize that even if there is a possible connection, the focus that will provide the most beneficial outcome is for them to focus on their own journeys and successes.

6) Remain Resilient

“Every failure is a chance to improve.” Successful people fail, too. The difference is that they get back up and keep fighting. No successful person is where they are today because they just slipped through life as casually as an afternoon breeze in the autumn. Every person in this world who is truly successful has been tenacious and hard-working. “Mentally strong people are willing to fail again and again, as long as the learning experience from every ’failure’ can bring them closer to their ultimate goals.” Sometimes failure teaches you more than a win ever could.

7) Earn Their Wins

Successful people think in terms of earning potential. They do not “feel the world owes them anything. Particularly in the current economy, executives and employees at every level are gaining the realization that the world does not owe them.” In order to be successful, it is vital that you think with a strong mind and work for your successes. They will never be handed to you on a silver platter. You must earn them and even when you think you’ve earned them, realize that sometimes you have to work four times as hard as you could have ever expected to get somewhere. Yet, successful people think, and think correctly, that if they work hard enough they will eventually earn the wins they want in life. The world may not owe them anything, but the world is much more likely to give them things if they work hard for them.

No Results? How do I stay motivated.

There are a couple of ways that you can stay motivated while you are not getting results. One is to look at people who are very successful that also failed. Look at Ray Kroc who was a failure his whole entire life until he stumbled upon a burger stand and ended up buying out that little burger stand and created McDonald’s in the 60s. Elvis Presley got kicked off that Grand Old Opry stage and was told to go back truck driving.  Look at all your upline Directors in your business!  Do you think they felt like it was going well all the time for them?  NO!  They struggle too!

Not getting results is part for the course. It’s just how it is. It is how it is for everyone in a network marketing business.  You are NOT alone! Sometimes it is hard to stay motivated.

How to become successful is to be persistent through failure.

That is literally only 50% of the equation. Now most people are persistent. You have to persistent through failure… over and over again.  This is how to GET to success.

I failed in a lot of different things. Thank God, I tried one more time. One more time.

It’s normal….you have to understand that. Normal for EVERYONE. It’s normal to be doing work and not getting results. That’s normal. Keep going. Be persistent. Let the vision of who you want to become pull you pass these obstacles and this is why. Just having a WHY isn’t enough. It’s not enough to have a why. You have to have a vision of who you want to become that is so powerful. Who are you? Who do you want to become? That vision is so critical to get you past the obstacles because there will be obstacles all along the way.  Be persistent through failure.

It takes guts to go in a different direction than the masses.  If you are worried about what others think of you or more focused on how you “may” look to others, you will most certainly never have the life of your dreams or the life you could have created.

Fear is normal, natural and there is probably not a person on the planet who will say they have not had fear at some point in their business.

Fear is a constant for many of us. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the desire for something greater and therefore a willingness to push through fear.

To succeed, you must learn to overcome the biggest challenges in a sales role, like the ones described below.
  1. Prospecting. Many sales people will tell you the toughest part of their job is prospecting. …
  2. Offering Value. …
  3. Handling Rejection. …
  4. Gaining Commitments. …
  5. Lack of Efficiency. …

WHY are you building your business?  What is it that will make you move from the masses and step out of your comfort zone to achieve your dream?  What is the why that makes you cry?  It’s got to be strong and powerful to give you a clear vision and drive to move forward no matter what the obstacles.  You will have many obstacles along the way to success.  Focus on the end results and keep pushing forward no matter what. You Don’t Get Paid by the Hour

It isn’t enough to say how much you have been working or that you have been “busy”. What have you been busy doing? In other words, how many people are you exposing to your presentation and opportunity each month/week/day? In addition, you will face some rejection. Not comfortably in your home office watching videos.  For instance, make it a point to talk to at least 2 new people a day about your business, that is 10 new contacts a week! Do this week after week. After that, your business WILL  grow.

Your attitude and belief will come across in the way you talk to people… some will catch your excitement, your urgency and your belief and choose to join you, going on to share their new business with that same level of excitement, passion and commitment as well.

Here’s the thing: in order to be successful in your business, you need to develop the attitude that you are going to the top. Along the way, you’re going to take a lot of people with you. Along the way, you’re going to leave even more people behind. Not because you chose to leave them there, but because THEY chose to stay there. And there’s nothing you can do about it. You have not control what others choose to do. Only yourself.

If you’ve ever been camping, you’ve noticed that when you separate
logs on a campfire the fire goes out.  Push them back together and
the fire blazes up.  So with ONE log, you have nothing.

If you have two logs, you’ll have a flame, with three you have a fire,
with four you have a BLAZE!

When having a meeting, be sure that there are at least three people
there, and when the fourth person arrives, your meeting is really
blazing!  We call these sessions “sizzle sessions.”  Your MLM program
is the steak, and it’s the SIZZLE that sells the steak.

This is a good place to bring someone who isn’t quite as
hot as you’d like them to be, they’ll catch on fire!

If you’re at a public place like a restaurant, watch for people who
might be listening in on the conversation.  When the Sizzle Session
is over, hang around a bit and see if anyone approaches you.  They
might not approach while there’s a crowd, but they will after the
others leave.

Start the Sizzle Session by having people tell about something good
that has happened in their business.

When you are finished, part with something like this:  “Just think,
this is as hard as we will ever work!”  Those who have joined your
meeting that are involved in a regular JOB will be motivated to hurry
up and get to that same position.

Have you heard that before from some team members or prospects?

Everyone has the time if they are serious about getting ahead and building a business.

In other words, find that 1/2 hour – hour or two each day to build a incredible business not only for you, but your family.  It is so worth it!  You can’t rely on Corporate America for retirement anymore.  The way things are today, having a back up plan is a MUST. And a good, solid company to build up over time is an incredible choice for your nest egg and your future.

Many business owners are just going to hide behind the excuse that they don’t have the time. They’ll wait until someday they magically clear their calendar, get past the current situations they are dealing with, and then they’ll do the things that will make their business grow.

Sadly their someday never comes…

Instead, you’ve got to make the decision that your someday is now! And that your starting point is today!

What is your WHY?

Is it more money to get that new car, to send your kids to college, to take that special vacation? Whatever it is, keep that WHY in front of you and make the decision to stop being stuck and do something to make your life better and have fun doing it! In other words, our Mia Bella business is a FUN business! Who doesn’t like beautiful scents? Most people do!

Above all, when you do this, and back it up with simple, focused action to incrementally change the way you are building your business, the results will amaze you. You got this!

Grow Your Network With Facebook!

Growing your network!

The main reason all companies ask you to work with your warm market is because they already know, trust and like you. When you get online and in particular Facebook, you want to grow your network, moving people from cold to warm. As they start to trust, like and know you, your business will grow.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to grow your network on Facebook.

Step#1: Get on your Primary companies Fan (Business) group. If you don’t know where it is, ask your sponsor or someone in your up-line. Make sure you find the MAIN group as there are many secondary groups.
Step#2: Interact often in those groups (like, comment, post). Get your name (and photo) out in the group. You will be able to find who the big players are in the company and you will start to get noticed by some of the bigger names in your business. It is common to see people in these groups add you as a friend. Accept them as friends. These are great people for future ventures.
Step#3: SHOW support to everyone in the group, comment and like. This is great attraction marketing technique to get everyone to like and respect you. This will build a great foundation and as you start commenting and sharing, they will return the favor and like and comment on your posts as well. Any promotion or success from you or your downline, show it publicly on your Facebook wall – get excited for everyone.
Step #4: Big leaders usually have a lot of friends in their network from all kinds of businesses, from network marketing, internet marketing and direct sales. Comment on their stuff often and soon you will get “friend requests” from people outside your primary company. This is how you will tap into a new circle of friends that are not in the same business as you.
Step #5: Now you are slowly building your network of friends outside your company, repeat Step #3 – but with people who are not in the same business as you. Comment on their stuff, like their posts. Tell them to keep up the great work! This will attract people in that specific circle of friends to add you as a friend too. This will start to increase your friends from companies that you are not involved with.
Step #6: Promote your business on your profile page once in awhile. Once you get a signup, welcome this person to the team publicly on your wall. This is great attraction marketing technique. This will peak interest from others and have more people interested in joining you. Continue to do this over and over and over again.
Step#7: As you move through this process you will find some amazing friends, partners and people you will respect. Message them, call them, video chat with them. These are soon some of your best friends and greatest business partners. They may not join your business now or ever, but they without hesitation, recommend others to you.
This may not be the “fast track” to success but the process works and you will meet some amazing people along the way. It is a slower process, but you are “getting to know” people. Best friends are not built in a day. Once you get a hang of the process, you will not want to go a day without doing it. You will miss it and value all the great new people you have in your network.

What does Branding Your Business mean?

What does branding your business mean? Why is it important?

 

The definition of branding is:  The process involved in creating a unique name and IMAGE for a product in the consumers mind. Mainly through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme. Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers.

What is branding your business? So for instance, in my business (candles), I use the same profile picture, or pretty close of myself with my white horse. Over the years, people have come to know me as the ‘candle lady with the white horse’.  Outside my business and my family, my passion is my horses.  People have come to know me as a huge animal & candle lover and I get many shared ‘horsey’ posts to my timeline on Facebook.

In addition, Brand Marketing is the way that businesses or organizations highlight and bring awareness to products or services by connecting values and voice to the right audience through strategic communication.

Above all, show people what you are all about.  Keep showing the same theme.  They will get to know you and whenever they see a picture or video of whatever your brand or look is, that will remind them of you!
