Some Succeed, Others Struggle

There are reasons why some people succeed, while others struggle.

If you’re having difficulty converting prospects, here are 10 tips that can give you a leg up:

1. Make an excellent first impression: You may only get a few minutes to really impress someone.

2. Know what you don’t know: The easiest way to turn potential customers off is to come off like a know-it-all.

3. Practice what others teach: Find role models or mentors in the field and watch what they do, then emulate it.

4. Remember people’s names and faces: You never know when remembering someone is going to mean the difference between them listening to you or tuning you out.

5. Be a leader to those below you: As much as you want to climb the ladder, don’t forget to be a role model to those just getting started. They need you to set a good example.

6. Treat your business like a business: Even if direct selling isn’t your primary job, give it the time and respect it deserves, so one day you can make it your No.1 priority.

7. Research, research, research: Learn everything you can about potential customers, and your business. There’s no such thing as knowing too much.

8. Get strong at reading non-verbal cues: Customers often say more with their facial expressions and gestures than they do with words.

9. Act and don’t hesitate: When a decision needs to be made, don’t delay. Chances are, someone else is pursuing the same opportunity you are.

10. Confidence is everything: Belief in yourself is at least half the battle; think positive and you’ll get positive results.

I don’t have TIME!

Randall Bramblett - "I Just Don't Have The Time" [Lyric Video ...

Have you heard that before from some team members or prospects?

Everyone has the time if they are serious about getting ahead and building a business.

In other words, find that 1/2 hour – hour or two each day to build a incredible business not only for you, but your family.  It is so worth it!  You can’t rely on Corporate America for retirement anymore.  The way things are today, having a back up plan is a MUST. And a good, solid company to build up over time is an incredible choice for your nest egg and your future.

Activity Time Spent Time Remaining in the week
Sleep
8 hours a day
56 hours a week 112 hours remaining.
Full time job:
8 hours a day
40 hours a week 72 hours remaining.
Commuting:
2 hours a day
10 hours a week 62 hours remaining.
Eating:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 48 hours remaining.
Family & Entertainment:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 34 hours remaining.
Miscellaneous:
2 hours a day
14 hours a week 20 hours remaining!

Many business owners are just going to hide behind the excuse that they don’t have the time. They’ll wait until someday they magically clear their calendar, get past the current situations they are dealing with, and then they’ll do the things that will make their business grow.

Sadly their someday never comes…

Instead, you’ve got to make the decision that your someday is now! And that your starting point is today!

What is your WHY?

Is it more money to get that new car, to send your kids to college, to take that special vacation? Whatever it is, keep that WHY in front of you and make the decision to stop being stuck and do something to make your life better and have fun doing it! In other words, our Mia Bella business is a FUN business! Who doesn’t like beautiful scents? Most people do!

Above all, when you do this, and back it up with simple, focused action to incrementally change the way you are building your business, the results will amaze you. You got this!

The Turning Point

The Turning Point!

I usually listen in every morning to some sort of training or inspirational video or article to get my day going on a positive note and make that turning point in my day.

What is a positive attitude?

The first step to looking at the positive side of life is to be optimistic! You are capable of optimism even if you are a glass half empty kind of guy. When your car breaks down on the side of the road, you can look at it as an opportunity or a challenge! You can time how long it takes for a tow truck to arrive and when it gets there, be friendly to the tow truck driver! You can both start talking and before you know it, you may have a friend in this world that you didn’t have before! This is only one example of how you can take life’s negatives and turn it into something positive.

Positive thoughts lead to a positive attitude, while negative thoughts lead to a negative attitude. Changing your attitude is as easy as hitting the “pause” button on what you’re thinking and choosing to think different thoughts.

In order to have a positive attitude, focus on the good. Focus on the good in yourself, the good in your life, and the good in others.

Individuals who have a positive attitude will pay attention to the good, rather than bad in people, situations, events. A simple example of a positive attitude; when you are having a very bad run of luck but you still say “Good Morning” rather than “What’s so good about this morning”.

Enjoy and have a wonderful day!
